A recent poll on ObeseGamers.com shows that the obese gaming community isn't happy with the miniscule amount of exercise simulation games on the market. A remarkable 98% of poll voters think that there should be less games that require actual exercise (such as Dance Dance Revolution or even Guitar Hero) and more games that simply simulate exercise.

"Most of us are restricted to playing the bench press training mode in Madden '07 over and over again", said ObeseGamers.com forum admin PortlyPorker. PortlyPorker is an obese gamer who started the ObeseGamers.com community for obese gamers to have a voice in the gaming world.

ObeseGamers.com forum poster buffet_fanboy said, "Most of us are too heavy to play games like Dance Dance Revolution, what we want is a game that simulates an actual gym setting. For instance, we could have a choice of cardio, free weights, or machines. All of the exercise could be done using just the controller."

"What we need is a game developer to step up and design the perfect exercise simulation", said forum poster cellyoulite.

Forum heckler lol_imskinny_lol was met with much retaliation when he asked, "Why don't you just get off your asses and do some actual exercise?". The majority of the community rattled back with comments such as, "Where's the fun?"
